Norcon has reviewed our Talk-Thru products and has the following recommendations to ensure cleanliness and reduce the potential for germ transfer. TTUs may be cleaned with commercially available household disinfectant wipes or cleansers, as long as they are not ammonia-based. When cleaning:

• Follow the disinfectant manufactures directions for use.

• Remove any excess liquid from the cloth/wipe to avoid getting cleaning solution into ports and other openings.

• Wipe screens with a clean microfiber cloth to remove any residual left by the cleaners.

• Do not spray disinfectant directly onto the screen. Spray onto cloth and then clean the screen.

• Replace the microphone’s windscreen (TTU-MWS)

 They can also be lightly misted with commercially available household disinfectant spray. When spraying:

• Keep the spray nozzle 6-10" away from the microphone.

• Spray the mic completely but do not saturate the microphone. The internal components should not get wet.

Norcon cannot make a determination of the effectiveness of a given disinfectant product in fighting pathogens. Please refer to your local public health authority’s guidance on how to stay safe from potential infection.
